Abide Church is a coming-soon dynamic new church plant launching in Watertown, WI in 2027.
Our mission is to see people transformed by the Gospel of Jesus Christ and equipped to abide in Him, knowing Christ, growing in Christ, building one another up in faith, love, and strong relationships as we glorify God in our community and surrounding area.

Joshua Sanftner and his wife, Anne Marie
Joshua Sanftner and his wife, Anne Marie
Joshua was born and raised in Santa Clara, California. He is deeply passionate about living wholeheartedly for Jesus Christ and equipping disciples to follow Him. With a pastoral heart and years of ministry experience, Joshua’s greatest joy is seeing lives transformed by the Gospel and helping believers grow in their walk with Christ. Joshua enjoys outdoor sports, a good burger and travelling to national parks.
Anne Marie was born in Texas and raised in Wisconsin. She has a strong passion for living out the Great Commission — loving people well and boldly sharing the hope of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Her warm, relational approach and servant’s heart make her a joyful partner in ministry. Anne Marie loves music, watching her kids play sports and travelling with the whole family.
Together, Joshua and Anne Marie have been married for 20 years. They are blessed with five children and a black lab. They have lived in Watertown for five years are are excited to serve their community area as they plant Abide Church. Their family is committed to authentic faith, strong relationships, and pointing their community to Jesus.
